Uses of Feenamint
Feenamint is used to treat constipation. It may too be used to clean out the intestines ago a bowel test/surgery. Feenamint is known as a stimulant laxative. It works by growing the movement of the intestines, helping the feces to come out.
Dosage of Feenamint
Take this medication by oral as directed by your doctor. If you are self-using, follow all directions on the drug package. If you are unknown about any of the information, ask your doctor.
Swallow this medication whole. Don’t crush, chew, or break the tablet or take it within one hour of antacids, milk, or milk products. Make so can destroy the covering on the tablet & may increase the risk of stomach upset.
Dosage is based on medical condition, age, & response to treatment.
Don’t increase the dose of this medicine more than directed. Do not take this medication for more than seven days unless directed by your doctor. Critical side effects may arise with the overuse of this laxative.
If the physician has recommended taking this laxative on a regular plan & you lose a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, leave the missed.
If you get an overdose of laxative & have severe symptoms please get medical help centre immediately. Signs of overdose may contain severe
- abdominal pain or cramping,

- Intestinal obstruction

- acute surgical abdomen
- vomiting, or
- symptoms of appendicitis
Side Effects of Feenamint
Stomach/abdominal pain or cramping,
- diarrhea, or
- weakness may occur.
If any of these negative effects persist, tell the doctor promptly.
If the physician has directed you to use this laxative, be sure that he has judged that the advantage to you is greater than the risk of negative effects. Some people using feenamint laxatives do not have serious negative effects.
Tell your physician promptly if any unlikely but serious side effects occur such as:
- persistent nausea
- muscle cramps
- irregular heartbeat,
- decreased urination,
- mental/mood changes (such as confusion).
A very bad allergic reaction to this medicine is limited. However, look for immediate medical attention if you attend any symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, including
- swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat),
- severe dizziness,
- trouble breathing.
